The Dickinson College Orchestra joins forces with the Dickinson College Choir and Cantate Carlisle to perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
The Dickinson College Choir and Orchestra combine with Cantate Carlisle to present Beethoven’s monumental Symphony no. 9, “Ode to Joy.” This is the college’s first time presenting this cornerstone of the Western symphonic repertoire. The program will also feature cellist Amelia Harper ‘25, winner of the annual student concerto competition, and two additional choral works, Samuel Barber’s Agnus Dei and Jonathan Dove's "Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars," featuring our new faculty member in organ, Hannah Koby.
