January 30, 2023

Dickinson College students, staff, and faculty are invited to join us for a community discussion of The Hurting Kind: Poems by 24th United States Poet Laureate and 2023 Stellfox Recipient Ada Limón.

Dickinson College students, staff, and faculty are invited to join us for a community discussion of The Hurting Kind: Poems by 24th United States Poet Laureate and 2023 Stellfox Recipient Ada Limón.

This event with 2023 Stellfox Recipient Ada Limón – small group discussions facilitated by Dickinson faculty, staff, and students – will be held in the Waidner-Spahr Library on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. in anticipation of Limón's visit to Dickinson in mid-February.

Please register to let us know that you plan to attend. This will allow us to determine the number of discussion facilitators necessary to make it a meaningful event in which all attendees can participate.

A limited number of copies of The Hurting Kind will be made available to Dickinson student, faculty, and staff participants.

This year's event is sponsored by the Harold and Ethel L. Stellfox Visiting Scholars and Writers Program, and organized by faculty and staff from the Departments of Creative Writing and English and the Waidner-Spahr Library. For more information, contact Jessica Howard or Sheela Jane Menon.
