Girls Who Code: A Fireside Chat With Founder Reshma Saujani

February 10, 2022

Please join us for an interactive discussion with Reshma Saujani, the founder and CEO of the nonprofit organization Girls Who Code.

While Saujani will be joining us virtually, you are encouraged to come to the Stern Center Great Room to enjoy the event on the big screen as a community. If you cannot attend in person, you can still participate over Zoom.

Girls Who Code aims to increase the number of women in computer science and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. There are now over 1,500 Girls Who Code clubs across America, including an active club at Dickinson. Saujani is also the author of the international bestseller Brave, Not Perfect and the New York Times bestseller Girls Who Code: Learn to Code and Change the World. Reshma’s TED talk, “Teach Girls, Bravery not Perfection,” has almost six million views and has sparked a worldwide conversation about how we’re raising girls. She is the host of the award-winning podcast “Brave, Not Perfect.”
