The Classics Department would like to invite you to attend the lecture of Emily Wilson, Professor of Classical Studies, University of Pennsylvania.
On Friday March 4, 2022 Professor Emily Wilson, will do a dramatic reading of several passages from her in-progress verse translation of the Iliad, interwoven with discussion of the poem virtually on Zoom. Then on Saturday March 5, 2022 Professor Wilson will discuss her goals and her process in translating the Iliad after the Odyssey virtually on Zoom.
