Norwich “Walking” Tour: Herstories We will explore some of Norwich’s most famous sites, viewed through the lenses of the women whose legacies played a major role in the history and culture of this area and in England in general. We will meet WWI nurse Edith Cavell, who was assassinated for treason; mystic Julian of Norwich, author of the first book written by a woman in English; explorer Harriet Martineau; prison reformer Elizabeth Fry; and abolitionist Harriet Martineau, to name a few! Registration deadline: March 9.
