Why I chose Dickinson:

My grandmother recommended it to me because of Dickinson’s reputation, and after seeing the campus and learning more about the school, I knew it would be the perfect place for me. The size, location and study-abroad opportunities were especially important to me.

Favorite book:

The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini.

Favorite Movie:

Moulin Rouge.

On studying abroad:

I am leaving to study abroad for the spring semester in Málaga, Spain, tomorrow afternoon, and I couldn't be more excited. I did a summer exchange in Madrid when I was in high school, and I have wanted to go back to Spain ever since. I'm looking forward to seeing a new part of the country and getting more experience with the Spanish language.

Favorite place on campus:

Anywhere in Rector.

Favorite Dining Hall food: 

Stir-fries or meringues.

As a kid, I wanted to be ...

... a chef. I practiced by baking simple things, like cookies and cakes, for my friends and family. But as soon as I tried to make more complicated things, I realized that cooking wasn't my calling.

Post-Dickinson plans:

During the past few years, I joined Best Buddies and Friends Club and worked at a swim school and at camps for children with special needs. All of these experiences proved to me that helping others really makes me happy. I plan to go to graduate school for occupational therapy.

If I could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, it would be ...

... Elvis Presley. I've listened to his music on my dad's record player since I was a kid, and I have always loved it. I feel Elvis would be a very interesting person to talk to, although the dinner wouldn't be complete without hearing him sing "Burning Love."

In a perfect world . . .

... there would be enough time in the day to get everything done and still get plenty of sleep!
