How I got this internship:

I applied directly through the aquarium's website.

What I do, day to day:

I make spreadsheets, attend meetings and assist on a few bigger projects involving corporate membership and volunteer events.

Other internships:

This was my first internship. I am currently interning at the Lake George Land Conservancy in New York.

Most valuable part of this experience:

Learning how to communicate in a professional setting.

Advice for students considering internships:

Even if you are not sure exactly what you want to do, an internship helps you see how different jobs operate. You get the opportunity to meet and have conversations with so many people. Everyone wants to give you advice and make sure that your experience is valuable.

How this internship has helped me:

This internship has confirmed for me that I have chosen the right major, and it has motivated me to improve even more in school. I learned what life could be like after Dickinson if you work hard in school.
