Dickinson men’s basketball has been on a tear, and with a win over York College, City College of New York, this past weekend, the Dickinson squad improved to 10-1, the team’s best start since the 1946-47 season (which saw a 13-1 start).
The Devils, ranked No. 4 nationally, saw other milestones reached on Saturday when Gerry Wixted '15 became the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,541 career points (he also holds the record for free throws and blocked shots). Wixted took the top spot from Nate Brought '98 with 12 total points while adding nine rebounds and four assists.
Brandon Angradi '16 hit 10 three-pointers, tying the Centennial Conference record and setting a new Dickinson team record. Angradi’s career-high 32 points helped propel the Red Devils to a 83-71 win over the Cardinals and pump the team up for Wednesday’s 6 p.m. game at Washington College.
