Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us in a sustainable small gifts workshops and make your own beeswax candles, greeting cards, native bee homes, jewelry and other upcycled projects.

Discuss how to give green while you prepare gifts for friends and family. All are welcomed to this open house-style Sustain IT workshop where we will learn, practice and act around the topic of sustainable gifts! All projects are free and local honey will be for sale ($10). Take the opportunity to broaden your horizons and learn new upcycling and crafting skills! This knowledge can be key in the understanding of how you can begin to live a more sustainable life. The Sustain IT Workshop Series is designed to create action on an issue of concern through education, networking, and prioritization. Students, faculty and staff participate to learn, discuss current practices and ideas for improvement, and then identify action items that can create positive change towards a more sustainable campus. Eco-Reps are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome. No pre-registration is necessary and feel free to bring your own food. Coordinated by: The Center for Sustainability Education and co-sponsored by The Hive, The Handlebar, The Eco-Reps, Dickinson College Farm and The Makery
