The town of Carlisle is rich in history dating back to the 1700s. Discover this charming town's history with the Cumberland County Historical Society Education Curator, Matthew March.

The interpretive tour will browse the historic markers throughout the walkable downtown highlighting the Old Courthouse, civil war markers and churches. Wear comfortable shoes. This event is part of the "Exploring Our Place Series". This series is designed to create experiential learning opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to come together and learn about places, processes, and people.
