Cross-country runner Ryan Steinbock ’14 shattered the Red Devil 5,000-meter record last week en route to a silver medal at the 2014 NCAA Indoor National Championships in Lincoln, Neb. The German and international business & management major also holds school records in the 4 x 1,600 relay (indoor), 4 x 800 relay (indoor), distance medley relay (indoor) and 3,000-meter event (indoor/outdoor).
Steinbock crossed the line at the 14:19.30 mark to place second, punctuating his second consecutive All-American season.
