Mistaken identities, slamming doors and revolving beds are the hallmarks of Georges Feydeau’s classic farce about marital mayhem, A Flea in Her Ear, which opens at Mathers Theatre (Holland Union Building) on Friday, Oct. 11. The play centers on a sex-crazed woman who believes her buttoned-down husband is unfaithful and tries to trap him by setting up an elaborate ruse at the Frisky Puss Hotel. Her plan quickly goes awry, sparking a series of uproarious consequences that few comedy writers have matched.

Showtimes are Friday, Oct. 11, Saturday, Oct. 12, and Monday, Oct. 14, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 or $5 for advance purchase with student ID.
