CTY Camps to Return in Summer 2024
Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth to bring 400+ students to campus starting in late June

Dickinson is excited to announce that the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) is returning to campus for their summer camps after a one-year hiatus, resuming a partnership with the college that has endured for more than 45 years.
A program of Johns Hopkins University, CTY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to identifying and nurturing academic talent in young people, offering programs for grades 2-12, including summer camps, online courses and weekend programs.
CTY’s mission aligns perfectly with Dickinson’s commitment to academic excellence and providing students with opportunities to reach their full potential, providing academically talented students with challenging and enriching educational experiences. Its on-campus programs will offer two sessions this summer—running from the end of June until early August—and will accommodate around 440 students and 110 staff members. The students will occupy 14 residence halls and use 28 classrooms for their academic coursework.
"CTY's presence on our campus is not only academically enriching for our community, but it also has a meaningful financial impact,” says David Walker, vice president for finance and administration. "The net revenue generated from this partnership provides substantial support for our academic programs and facilities that benefits the entire campus community."
