Dickinson honors those lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks

Dickinson College paid tribute to the victims of the 9/11 attacks on Monday, Sept. 11, as part of a Patriot Day commemoration arranged by the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). The ceremony featured the ROTC color guard lowering the flag to half-staff while "Taps" played in the background.

President John E. Jones III '77, P'11, along with Beth Jones P'11, laid a wreath at the flagpole. Rowen Krantz '25 delivered a moving rendition of "Amazing Grace," and Rabbi Marley Weiner, Director of Dickinson's Milton B. Asbell Center for Jewish Life, led a prayer of remembrance.
