President Jones meets with Red Devils.
President Jones meets with fall sports teams, marking the kickoff of Dickinson's 2023 athletics season
Going to facilities across campus, President John E. Jones '77, P'11, recently spent a couple of hours touching base with all the Red Devils squads preparing for action this fall.
"Some of my best days as president of Dickinson College have been coming to watch games," he told the gathered athletes. "I think athletics really predicts success in life, and I think athletics portends, at this level in particular, leadership."
Meeting and greeting the men's and women's soccer teams; field hockey, volleyball and football players; and members of the cross country teams, he echoed Red Devil fans everywhere, saying, "I'll see you out here, and I'll be cheering you on."
