Scholarship Story: Ashley Harbert ’26

Thanks to scholarship support, Harbert takes voice lessons at Dickinson and is involved with a collaborative music-composition group. Harbert, a women's, gender & sexuality studies major, also manages social media for the student-run a cappella group the Infernos and performs with the group throughout the year. “My family and I appreciate the generosity of alumni and friends of the college that relieves the financial burden on my parents and makes being a successful student easier,” Harbert says. “The opportunities I am granted here and the scholarly treatment I receive at Dickinson are unlike anything I have ever experienced, and I wholeheartedly have the generosity of the alumni and others to thank."
