Scholarship Story: Marissa Biundo '24

“I felt a wave of confidence and gratitude exploring history, culture and politics in London and taking on the challenging courses at UEA that helped me to grow as a student” —Marissa Biundo ’24

Thanks to scholarship donors, Biundo is a Dickinson earth-sciences major with Dean's List honors who studied abroad through Dickinson's program in Norwich, U.K. Back on campus, is a student-assistant in the Department of Earth Sciences who enjoys learning new things as a member of Stitch it Up, Astronomy Club and Italian Club. Biundo also completed a summer internship at an engineering and design firm. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master's degree and conduct research on the devastating effects of natural disasters.
