Men's Lacrosse Hosts Rounds Two and Three of NCAA Tournament, Advances to Quarterfinals

After taking the Centennial Conference championship, the Red Devils look to keep rolling

May 14 Update: The Red Devils defeated Stevens Institute of Technology 12-10 to advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. They will play Christopher Newport University Saturday, May 20. Learn more at www.dickinson.edu/athletics.

May 13 Update: The Red Devils defeated John Carroll University 19-3 to advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, which they will host Sunday at Biddle Field.

After winning its second consecutive Centennial Conference (CC) championship, the Dickinson men's lacrosse team earned a first-round NCAA bye and will host the second and third rounds of the tournament Saturday and Sunday at Biddle Field.

In their Saturday matchup, beginning at noon, the 15-3 Red Devils will take on the Blue Streaks of John Carroll University (15-2), who defeated the Lake Forest College Foresters (13-4) in the first round. The other Saturday game (3 p.m.) will be between the Ducks of Stevens Institute of Technology and the Kenyon College Owls (15-2). The two winning teams will face off on Sunday at a time to be determined.

Dickinson secured the hosting rights by claiming their sixth CC title after knocking off Swarthmore College 13-7 last Sunday at Biddle Field.
