Three Red Devil Teams Advance to Playoffs

Women’s volleyball and soccer host playoffs this week, while men’s soccer heads to Johns Hopkins

As the fall sports season winds down, three Red Devils teams’ journeys will continue into the playoffs this week. All livestreams of the contests will be hosted on the Centennial Conference Digital Network. 

Women’s Volleyball

For the first time since 2008, the Dickinson women's volleyball team heads into the playoffs, as the Red Devils grabbed a 3-1 road win over Washington College on Saturday afternoon to secure the No. 4 tournament seed.

Up next: The team will hit the hard court against No. 5 seeded Gettysburg College at the Kline Center on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The team is hosting a "whiteout" event for the game, urging fans to dress in home white. If you need some white spirt wear, hit up the bookstore!

Women’s Soccer

The women's soccer team got a win to not only earn a 1-0 road shutout over Washington College but also to secure the No. 2 seed and first-round bye in this week's Centennial Conference tournament. 

Up next: Dickinson will either host No. 3 seeded Swarthmore College or No. 6 seeded Gettysburg College on Friday at Miller Memorial Field at 7 p.m.

Men’s Soccer

The Dickinson men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback to the Washington College Shoremen on the road Saturday in the regular season finale but will head into the playoffs.

Up next: Dickinson will be the No. 6 seed in the Centennial Conference tournament and will play in Baltimore Tuesday, Nov. 1, against No. 3 seeded Johns Hopkins University at 6 p.m. (Update: The Red Devils lost to Johns Hopkins in overtime.
