In the weeks following Jones' inauguration as Dickinson's 30th president, alumni across the country are seizing the opportunity to catch an up-close and personal glimpse of their college's leader during the 2022-23 Dickinson Forward Tour. Whether you live near Dickinson’s campus, across the country or around the world, you don’t need to take part in the tour to be in the know. Here’s the story of Jones’ life before he became Dickinson's president, starting with his family’s beginnings in the Pennsylvania coal-mine region to his undergrad days, to the family he built with wife Beth, to his distinguished career as a federal judge who ruled in landmark cases.
