Fund celebrated along with Men's Lacrosse 70th anniversary with dinner and reception

Red & White Day honored all things athletics at Dickinson last Saturday, but Red Devils lacrosse had a few special things to celebrate that day. Both the men’s and women’s teams came away with wins, and students, alumni, parents and coaches gathered to celebrate both the 70th anniversary of the men's lacrosse program at Dickinson and the launch of the David W. Webster '88 Men's Lacrosse Fund.

The new fund was established by a diverse pool of donors to support the advancement of Dickinson's men's lacrosse program and honor Webster, the program's revered longtime head coach known for his connection to his players on and off the field.

“Coach Webster doesn’t just recruit talent and develop talent,” said John Heath ’71, one of many alumni who attended, “he recruits character, and he develops character.”
