Celebrate Giving Tuesday by Making a Gift to Dickinson

To encourage Dickinsonians to participate in Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30, an annual global celebration of philanthropy, Dickinson is aiming to raise $100,000 for the Dickinson Fund and the Campaign for Scholarships: Change a Life—Change the World. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 by several nonprofit leaders as a way to highlight the power of philanthropy and kick off the season of giving. Since then, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

Launched earlier in November, Dickinson's Campaign for Scholarships aims to raise enough money to make sure that every Dickinson student who needs a scholarship gets a scholarship. It’s the most ambitious financial-aid fundraising campaign in the college’s history, seeking $75 million to make sure that the college can provide sufficient aid to meet the full demonstrated need for every admitted student.

In addition to scholarships and the Dickinson Fund, Giving Tuesday donors can choose to support academic programming, study abroad, the McAndrews Fund for Athletics, the Student Wellness Fund and sustainability.
