Day of Giving Kicks Off

ONE MISSION: 24 HOURS, 4,000 DICKINSONIANS
Dickinson is kicking off its annual Day of Giving today, Tuesday, April 6, with the goal of inspiring 4,000 Dickinsonians to make a gift to the college in a single day. Those gifts won’t just make an immediate impact on every student—they’ll also make a positive impact on the future those students will shape.
Dickinson is preparing future scientists who will find ways to heal the planet and make it sustainable; teachers who will inspire the next generation of leaders; artists and musicians who will move us, agitate us and make us laugh; humanists who will give us the resources to understand our experience; and entrepreneurs who will solve problems and keep our economy going. That means that when any donor makes a gift, they’re giving through Dickinson to support external causes as much as they’re giving to Dickinson.
So today, the college is inviting every Dickinsonian to give to Dickinson, give through Dickinson and show that great things happen when Dickinsonians come together.
DAY OF GIVING CHALLENGES
Dickinson Fund Challenge
Thanks to a generous challenge gift from an anonymous 2007 alumni couple we will unlock an additional $10,000 with 500 gifts to the Dickinson Fund.
Scholarships Challenge
Thanks to a generous challenge gift from Kevin Holleran ’73, we will unlock an additional $10,000 in immediate scholarship and financial aid funding for today’s students if we reach 250 donors to scholarships.
Parent Challenge
An anonymous parent couple has made a $10,000 gift to inspire other parents to join them in supporting academic programming or the college priority most meaningful to their student’s experience.
Senior Class Gift Challenge
Thanks to a generous challenge gift from Rick Anderson '92 and his wife, Rebecca, the first 100 gifts from members of the class of 2021 will be matched with an additional $100 up to $10,000 total in matching gifts.
Delta Nu Challenge
If $10,000 is raised for the Delta Nu Scholarship on or before Day of Giving, two anonymous donors will give a $10,000 matching gift.
