Central Pennsylvania Native Featured in Dickinson College Exhibition
The Ladder Maker
Visual artist Jonathan VanDyke’s recent works will be on display at Dickinson’s Goodyear Gallery from Oct. 8–28. The exhibition, The Ladder Maker, will open with a talk by VanDyke on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 235, Weiss Center for the Arts. Following the talk, there will be a reception from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.in the gallery at 595 W. Louther St. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
VanDyke, a central Pennsylvania native, presents a site-specific installation that evokes a state of flux. Pieced paintings, dripping sculptures and a looping video are arranged on industrial scaffolding and wooden screens.
