Exhibition at The Trout Gallery at Dickinson College Explores Japan’s Abstract Traditions Through Printmaking

Abstract Traditions will be on display at The Trout Gallery at Dickinson College, Weiss Center for the Arts, from Nov. 1 through Feb. 15. The gallery will host an opening reception on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. 

The touring exhibition examines Japan’s developments in printmaking during the second half of the 20th century and features abstract postwar prints from DePauw University’s Permanent Art Collection. Noted artists include: Iwami Reika, Onchi Koshiro, Sekino Jun’ichiro, Shinoda Toko, and Yamaguchi Gen.
