Life Beyond the Limestone
What has the class of 2019 accomplished, and where will these ambitious grads go next?
There are 13 Fulbright awardees in the class of 2019 and scores more heading to top national and international organizations, including NASA, Deloitte, National Institutes of Health, Bloomberg, MLB Network, the Center for Arms Control, the Peace Corps, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Others are enrolled in graduate programs and are taking on research opportunities at prestigious universities like Harvard, Columbia, Duke, Georgetown, University of South Carolina, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, University College London and more.
“The class of 2019 has a lot of leaders, a lot of go-getters,” says Briona Hawkins ’19 (educational studies), “and so I expect us to really go out into the world and change it for the better.”
