'The Good' wins digital communication award

The Good, the free, monthly podcast that shares stories about Dickinson students, professors and alumni, recently won a CASE District II Gold Award for Digital Communication. The podcast, which also includes an update from President Margee Ensign and a brain teaser with Associate Professor of Mathematics Jeff Forrester, has covered a wide range of topics, including baseball with Andy MacPhail '76, nanotechnology with Chad Mirkin ’86 and a landmark climate-change lawsuit with Sophie Kivlehan '21.

CASE is an international association of educational institutions, and its District II is composed of colleges and universities in six Northeast states plus the District of Columbia; Ontario, Canada; and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The podcast's gold award was in the platinum category, which means the podcast will advance to compete in CASE's national awards competition.
