In November, members of Third Coast Percussion brought their contemporary take on the classics to campus as the latest guests in the Musical Artist-in-Residence series. The quartet’s weeklong visit included close collaborations with students, from in-class lectures and demonstrations, to a culminating concert in celebration of avant-garde composer John Cage.
The next Musical Artist-in-Residence will be the renowned Chiara String Quartet. The group will be visiting Dickinson for a week early next year, with a public concert in Rubendall Recital Hall on February 4.
