Day of Giving surpasses goal with more than 2,400 gifts in 24 hours

Dickinson's second Day of Giving, Tuesday, April 19, was a huge success, as Dickinsonians made more than 2,400 gifts to Dickinson in a single day. Aiming for 2,020 gifts to honor the incoming class of 2020 and the bright future they represent for the college, the historic effort rallied alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff, and friends of the college around the world to break the record for the most gifts made to the college in a single day.

"Thank you for your commitment to Dickinson College during our Day of Giving," said Board of Trustees Chair Jennifer Ward Reynolds '77, who was on campus to celebrate the record-breaking day for the college.

Updates on the day's challenges and final dollar total will be available on the Day of Giving page.
