Biography

Ming joined the Center for Civic Learning & Action (CCLA) in July of 2025 and now serves as the Dialogist in Residence. As the Dialogist in Residence, she works closely with both CCLA and the Dialogues Across Differences program, which aims to promote productive discussions while considering diverse perspectives. Ming is responsible for recruiting, training, supporting, and evaluating a group of student workers who will facilitate dialogues both on campus and between Dickinson and the wider Carlisle community.

Previously working at Dickinson’s Center for Sustainability Education (CSE), Ming has developed strong communication skills gained through managing social media accounts, designing content, and engaging with stakeholders and community members. She facilitated discussions and developed programs by leading DEI-focused activities. She has also collaborated with volunteers/community members on inclusive sustainability goals both on and off campus. Additionally, she mentored diverse teams, particularly as the Eco-Rep Coordinator, where she guided volunteers in developing their leadership abilities while advancing sustainability initiatives. Through her time as an intern for various Dickinson Centers, Ming successfully managed multiple projects, including (but not limited to) organizing events such as “Love Your Body Week”, an event that celebrates and explores all bodies, promoting health, wellness, and acceptance, hosted by the Women’s and Gender Resource Center.

Ming graduated from Dickinson College in May of 2025 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a double minor in Music and Studio Art. She served as the Vice President of Service for Dickinson’s Alpha Gamma Alpha Chapter of the co-ed National Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. Currently, she volunteers as an Eco-Rep as staff and a Master Gardener through the PennState Extension Office in Cumberland County.
