Kellie Newton ’81

“Dickinson changed my life, so I feel that it’s critical that I give back. I believe a Dickinsonian can change the world. Our graduates make important contributions to science and the arts, and that’s something I want to support.” — Kellie Newton ’81

Came to Dickinson from a small town in southwest New York thanks to a scholarship. Learned she could “do anything” through small classes, supportive faculty and the opportunity to study abroad in London. Earned a J.D. from Capital University Law School and charted a successful corporate law career, becoming a partner at McKenna, Long & Aldridge in Washington, D.C. Established a scholarship fund in her father’s name and today serves as a member of the board of trustees.
