Earned a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania after Dickinson and became a professor of immunology and microbiology at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Performed groundbreaking immunology research. Now taking a three week course on religious thought at Padres Institute of Jewish Thought (Israel). Established a scholarship in her mother’s honor at Hebrew University (Israel) and a scholarship at Dickinson “so others will have the kinds of opportunities I had.”
