A free training system that features a new and innovative way to help you prepare more effectively for a job interview.

Big Interview is an online system that combines training AND practice to help improve your interview technique and build your confidence.


Dickinson is collaborating with Forage, a resource that offers virtual, free/unpaid, self-paced modules designed to help students develop skills and gain a real understanding of different roles and sectors through simulated projects. You can work through a series of resources and hypothetical tasks that are designed to simulate the sort of work you would undertake as an intern or a graduate employee at the organization. It's a unique opportunity for you to try out a career at your own pace and in your own time, from the comfort of your home. It takes five to six hours to complete one program and you can complete as many programs as you like. All experiences are completely free of charge for students and graduates from Dickinson College. Parker Dewey and Micro-Internships

Dickinson is collaborating with Parker Dewey to help students connect with “micro-internship” opportunities.  Micro-internships are short-term, paid, professional projects posted by employers across a wide range of industries. These opportunities typically require 5-40 hours of total remote work across 2-4 weeks. Opportunities are posted on a rolling-basis. CEI Internship Series

Career Education Institutes Internship Series (CEI) compiles lists of internship opportunities for college and law students. They have information on a variety of industries and topics such as Internships in International Affairs, Women's Rights Internships, Internships with America's Top Companies, The Sports Internship Book, and more. Internships are updated every two weeks.

The Library has started online, collegewide subscriptions to the New York Times, the Chronicle of Higher Education and the Wall Street Journal. Each requires you to set up a free individual account before you can access full-text of articles from on or off-campus.
