Max Kade Institute of Cultural German Studies
The Max Kade Center for the Study of Contemporary German Culture was established on the Dickinson College Campus in 1994. With the generous support of the Max Kade Foundation, the Department of German has been able to support many German cultural events and to host important German authors through its writer-in-residence program.
The Center is located on campus and provides a space for lectures, courses, and events. Public downstairs rooms include a library, a class/exhibition room, a kitchen, and bath. An upstairs apartment is available for German writers and guests.
