Konstantinovo, the birthplace of one of the Russia’s most beloved poets, Sergei Yesenin, is located along the high banks of the Oka river and overlooks beautiful valleys and traditional peasant villages. This unique vantage point reflects Yesenin’s poetry and the deep meanings behind his work.

"I also visited the town of Konstantinovo, home of beloved Russian poet, Sergei Yesenin. The town was absolutely beautiful, especially as it had just been blanketed with 2 or 3 inches of snow. No surprise that a poet emerged from those surroundings," Jennifer Mihok'07.
