If you have recommendations for helpful apps or tips that you think we should add to either page, please send them to SOAR@dickinson.edu. This is not the semester that any of us had hoped for, but that that doesn't need to prevent us from tapping into the many resources available and discovering ways to SOAR!

What does it take to be academically successful in college – especially now that that classes are remote? What kinds of challenges are common for college students and what recommended strategies and supports can help students to overcome them? The answers to these questions and other secrets to maximizing your college academic success can be found in this recorded webinar presented by SOAR staff and veteran educators Marni Jones and John Joyce, along with SOAR Time Management Strategists Michael Murphy '20 and Olivia Riordan '21. Learn how managing your time well and being strategic about organizing your space, note-taking, studying and making good use of available resources can make all the difference in your potential to soar!.
In addition to the calendars and many tips on time management, study skills, distraction-blocking, note-taking, test-taking, and more that you’ll find below, students can attend an Academic Success Workshop at 12:15 on the first and third Thursdays of each month, run by the expert staff in the Center for Advising, Internships, and Lifelong Career Development (CAILCD).
