Employers may post job, internship and early‑career opportunities for Dickinson students and alumni at no cost through Handshake. As the primary recruiting platform for college students and recent graduates, Handshake provides ongoing visibility for career opportunities and employer brand presence among Dickinson students and alumni.
To further enhance visibility, the employer relations team curates job and internship postings in Handshake collections aligned with Dickinson’s Career Communities, helping connect opportunities with relevant student audiences.
Employers may collect resumes and application materials directly through Handshake or direct candidates to an external application system, depending on recruiting preferences.

Web Form for Job & Internship Postings
Employers who do not use Handshake may submit internship and early‑career opportunities directly to the employer relations team using an alternate web form. Submitted positions are reviewed and posted on the employer’s behalf through the Handshake account for Dickinson Career Programs, ensuring visibility and access for students and alumni within the platform.
This option provides a flexible way to share internship and career opportunities while specifically reaching Dickinson students and alumni. Employers may direct applicants to an external application site or have resumes and materials collected and compiled by the employer relations team, with applicant packets shared once the posting closes.
Alumni-Connected Job & Internship Postings

Dson Connected postings receive enhanced visibility across recruiting platforms, campus marketing channels and targeted social media outreach. Whenever possible, students are encouraged to connect directly with alumni at the organization, creating meaningful opportunities for conversation, mentorship and insight.

Micro-Internship Experiences with Parker Dewey
Dickinson is collaborating with Parker Dewey to help students connect with micro-internship opportunities—short-term, paid professional projects posted by employers across a wide range of industries.
These opportunities typically require 5-40 hours of total remote work across 2-4 weeks—shorter than the minimum required time for a formal internship—and opportunities may be posted on a rolling basis.
