The Fulbright Experience: Reflections with Olivia Harper Wilkins ‘15

September 14, 2018

Learn about the Fulbright program from a Dickinson alumna's perspective.

After graduating Dickinson in 2015 with a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics, Olivia Harper Wilkins moved to Köln, Germany, where she worked as a Fulbright research fellow with the Cologne Laboratory Astrophysics Group at the Universität zu Köln. She is now a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) where she studies complex organic molecules (COMs) in the interstellar medium (ISM). On Friday, September 14, Olivia will be on campus to talk about her Fulbright experience, share key takeaways and tips, and answer questions. Whether you’re a senior currently applying for a Fulbright, or a first-year/sophomore/junior who is interested becoming a cultural ambassador overseas after Dickinson, this is the perfect opportunity to learn about the Fulbright program from an alumna’s perspective.
