Join us for a conversation with renowned Cheyenne knowledge keepers, Dr. Henrietta Mann & Chief Phillip Whiteman Jr. November 29, 2024, marks the 160th anniversary of the Sand Creek Massacre, a tragedy killing over 230 Cheyenne and Arapaho people composed mostly of women, children, and the elderly in the land we now know as Colorado. To commemorate this significant event, Chief Phillip Whiteman & Dr. Henrietta Mann will join us to reflect on its history and discuss how Indigenous teachings can help counter the intergenerational effects of genocide.
