First-year students who will be working for dining services and who have completed the necessary new hire forms online, should plan to complete ID verification for the Form I9 during this time.
The process should take approximately 15 minutes or less. Document(s) presented must be original/unexpired document(s). (Photos or copies of document(s) are not permitted.) Please review the List of Acceptable Documents that may be used to satisfy the requirements of Form I9. Students must present one document from List A (i.e. Unexpired Passport or Passport Card) or, if you do not have a List A document, students must present one document from List B (i.e. Driver’s License, or Dickinson ID), AND one document from list C (i.e. Social Security Card, Birth Certificate). This is a Federal Requirement. Section 2 of the Form I-9 verifies proof of identity as well as employment eligibility. Note: if you attend this session on Thursday, you do not need to attend again.
