In this compelling session, the storytellers will share their unique perspectives on the historical and cultural significance of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, which operated from 1879 to 1918. Situated just a mile from Dickinson College, the boarding school is a poignant reminder of the cultural eradication efforts aimed at Indigenous peoples, yet it also serves as a powerful testament to the resilience and strength of Indigenous Peoples that continue to thrive today.
