Faculty study groups are a primary driver for new curricular innovation at Dickinson. The goals of the study group are to equip faculty with strategies and resources to integrate Indigenous Knowledge and Ways of Being into classrooms and course curriculum and provide create teaching methods rooted in Indigenous pedagogies. This CFNP Think Tank is a step in developing a Native American Studies major. A visiting faculty member, along with the Executive Director for the Center for the Futures of Native Peoples, Dr. Mandy Cheromiah (Laguna Pueblo), will facilitate the group.
