If you are thinking about integrating social, economic and/or environmental sustainability into your teaching, the Valley & Ridge Faculty Study Group is for you.

Come join the Center for Sustainability Education (CSE) and other colleagues for the Valley & Ridge faculty study group where we will learn from each other and share ideas for incorporating sustainability into teaching and curricula. The Valley & Ridge Study Group brings together faculty members from all academic divisions to work collaboratively in introducing and enhancing sustainability content into new and existing courses. Now in its 16th year, this workshop has helped over 135 Dickinson faculty members connect the subject areas of their teaching with sustainability using active learning pedagogies such as place-based & experiential education since 2008!

For 2024, we plan to have Valley & Ridge be in person and open to educators from other institutions. We are planning a safe, in person workshop but space is limited so APPLY NOW.
