As a kickoff for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April), harpist Jessica Browning will join the Dickinson community and present her lecture recital, Healing Through Music. Browning will speak about her own journey and songs that actively demonstrate how music facilitates the healing process; offer somatic and breath exercises for participants to try; and inspire a safe space for all survivors of sexual trauma. This concert is made possible by the Title IX & Sexual Respect Office and the Department of Music.
