Lunch and Learn (Bee Mimics in the Garden) & Dickinson Pollinator Garden Work Day 12:00-1:00 pm Lunch and Learn Presentation (K178) 1:00-3:00 pm Workday in Kaufman Pollinator Garden
Join the Center for Sustainability Education in Kaufman Hall 178 from 12-1 pm to learn about bee mimics in the garden from Penn State Master Gardeners. After the lunch and learn session, we will head to the garden for a workday of service with our partners from the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County. This garden is specifically designed for pollinators and is being developed into a demonstration garden in partnership with the community. The garden has been transformed this summer and we want to share it with the Dickinson Community! We need your help to weed, plant, mulch, water and learn! Come dressed to get dirty and help us in the garden anytime from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. All are welcome to come and go as long as you are able in this open house style, FREE, day of learning and service.
