Learn about programs at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dickinson alum Dr. Paul Titchenell '08, Assistant Director of Recruitment, will bring information about the Biomedical Graduate Studies Program, the Summer Undergraduate Internship Program (SUIP), and the Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program (PennPREP). The objective of SUIP is to provide undergraduates who are interested in graduate study in the biomedical and biological sciences an intense research experience. The objective of PennPREP is to guide individuals from underrepresented groups who have baccalaureate degrees into graduate school to pursue biomedical research.
Dr. Tichenell will be joined by Dr. Eric Witze, an Associate Professor of Cancer Biology, who is also affiliated with the Pharmacology Graduate Group. Also a current Ph.D. student, Bailey Nance will be attending as well. She is a student in the Cancer Biology program and will be sharing her experiences.
