The Mermaid Players, along with the Department of Theatre and Dance, are proud to bring back Lab Shows!
Lab Shows give students the opportunity to produce a performance that they create. Scripted drama, one-person shows, devised work, movement pieces, or even musicals could be considered, with the entire project being student directed, designed, acted, and produced. This semester there will be three Lab Shows put on, one in February and two in April. Kaleidoscope, directed by senior Josie Cook, is the first of these three shows.
What would you do if you were a million miles from Earth and your rocket ship was hit by a meteor, leaving you floating in space with only your communicator to link you to your six crew members? Kaleidoscope tells the story of a group of astronauts in this position and explores who they become when faced with certain death.
