Hosted by the Department of Earth Sciences.
The 19th Annual Potter Lecture, Dr. Kristina Keating, associate professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Science, Rutgers University
Dr. Keating’s research in near surface geophysics focuses on using laboratory and field based nuclear magnetic resonance measurements to understand processes occurring in the top 100 m’s of Earth’s surface. Her research spans critical zone science, hydrogeophysics, cryosphere geophysics, biogeophysics, and soil science. She is actively involved in science education research to engage students from groups historically underrepresented in the geosciences.
