Stop by to learn about volunteering, service trips, and paid community internship opportunities! Get a head start for ongoing volunteer opportunities by completing your volunteer clearances! Most volunteers need to complete background clearances as required by Pennsylvania ACT 153. To complete the forms, you will need to know previous addresses in the last 7 years; individuals who have resided with you; and your Social Security Number. The Center for Civic Learning & Action (CCLA) will be on-hand to assist you and they’ll pay background check fees! This is also a chance to get to meet the CCLA’s staff!
