AFST Archives & Special Collections Presentation by Destiny McFalls

May 3, 2022

Destiny McFalls '25 will present her research as this year's Africana Studies Archives & Special Collections Intern.

This is a year-long internship that seeks to develop an advanced expertise of Waidner-Spahr Library’s Archives and Special Collections dedicated to Africana peoples. It is meant to create a thorough experience of working with Dickinson Archives and Special Collections resources dedicated to Africana history, art, life, and contributions to the world in general and the Dickinson College community in particular. With the mission of Africana Studies -understanding and proposing ways of improving the life of Africana peoples-as the main goal, the student will develop a comprehensive, sophisticated and complex research project, directly engaging with the resources from the Archives and Special Collections.
